What Type of System Is Best for Our NC Climate?
There is a vast wealth of choices when it comes to choosing a heating system. We can take all the pressure away by thoroughly assessing your home and making a detailed plan to improve the overall building envelope. A heating system is only as good as the doors, windows, ducts and roof of your home. Our fully licensed technicians can provide you with practical solutions that will put more money in your wallet month to month.
Deciding what heating system to buy is a major decision. Have a little HVAC angel on your shoulder when you call Blaze Air.
Here Are Two Things to Consider When Purchasing a New System:
- Consider heat pumps. They are a great choice for year-round heating and cooling and when paired with a high efficiency boiler they really shine.
- The Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency rating, or AFUE, tells you how much heat your system furnace can produce compared to the amount of energy it needs to produce the heat. If your furnace is rated at 85 percent AFUE, 15 percent of the energy used is lost. The rating can be misleading though, as it does not include a figure for heat loss through faulty ductwork. You can lose up to an additional 35% if your ducts are not up to scratch.

How Do Geothermal Heating Systems Work?
The ground all around you in Trinity is absorbing nearly half of the solar energy the sun puts out all the time. Geothermal heating technology takes advantage of this and delivers the cleanest energy on the planet. The earth remains at pretty much a constant temperature (10 feet down) all year round. A system of pipes in a closed loop can exchange this trapped heat and distribute it through your home.
Geothermal heating systems are 400-600% efficient and can cut your heating (and cooling in the summer) costs by up to 80%.
